Our engagement couldn't have been a better surprise! I planned a day trip to Mercer/Macon with Kaitlyn & Amry. We ate our favorite food & walked around town & campus. We were sitting on the quad drinking coffee when I feel someone (hug? tap me on the shoulder? not sure) me from behind. It was Rafy, and he then proposed on the quad with a sweet speech that I do not recall at all, since he surprised me in a place I never expected him to be (me planning a day trip to Macon ruined his plans to propose in Augusta that day- so he adjusted). He had been hiding around campus, and my friends of course were in on it. It was all a blur and totally caught me off guard, and one of the happiest and best moments/days of my life!
